hello family,
just feeel like sharing again, I went to my sunday night meeting last night its at a hospital, and every sunday as part as giving back i volunteer to carry the message to the still sick n suffering addict upstairs in the detox....
I truly am grateful for what i have back in my life today for such a short time being clean n sober, when i shared by experience strength&hope to them last night my sponcee sister was up there, I spoke from my heart, told my story, and told them how i live my recovery daily, I got a lot of hugs at the end, I left with a feeling of peace and calmness, although I felt so deeply for the people there, I remember that I too once was in a detox, I know the feelings of hopelessness, and despaire, the nurses and staff thanked me last night for comming up, I told them dont thank me Thank God, Because he works through me....and I smiled at her, and walked out the door...
Just felt the need to exspress my gratitude today and to have someone to help through NA......God Bless DianaMarie:D
