I am nikki 28 yrs old in UTah
Personally I went in to another one of these forums on another site to try to get an understanding in the recovery process because this guy I fell in love with is a recovering alcoholic. Well Instead it made me realized my own problems with Alcohol and with the effects my step0-dad's alcoholism had on me.. Then realized that I can't be with that guy I so want to be with till I realize my own problems and work on the recovery process for my self. It took falling in love with him and then coming here to realize I have a long way to go till I can persue and maintain a long lasting relationship with someone. I really want to thank this site for that. Thank you to everyone who posts their own stories.. Because it has made me and I am sure alot of other people realize that we are not alone and where it is an up hill battle It can be done...
