For the past year i've stuggled with type 2 bulimia, ednos, and recently anorexia. I'm sick of it all and i want to recover. But i'm scared i've just screwed up my body too much. It's used to getting 300-500 calories a day. I'm trying to slowly increase my intake, but i dont know just howslowly to go. Any advice? :195:
Thanks.

Hi AppleFish, Are you seeing a doctor about this? If not, I suggest seeing a doctor. We do have a forum for Eating Disorders. Check that out when you get a chance.

Hello Applefish
It sounds tough. Great that you found this website. I have got a friend who goes to OA and finds it a real help, it might worth checking out your nearest group.
Try to deal with things day by day, do not think about next week, next month etc. Just focus on what you want to acheive today.
Great to have you with us here.:1:

I'm Kai, I'm an alcoholic.
I promise you, just about everybody who is seeks recovery from anything, has done some level of damage to our body. Many of us have done significant damage, but there is a lot of that damage that is reversable, and some things that we just have to adjust our lifestyle to and accept.
Going to a doctor is something that most of us don't like to do, but many of us need. I still don't like going to Doctor's much, cause they almost always tell me something I don't want to hear. But it is not only my mind that has been sick, I have made my body sick as well, so to take care of myself, I have to get help.
You are a child of your Creator, and you are beautifully and perfectly made just the way he wants you, accepting that seems to be at the heart of the trouble in all addictions. But you can recover, and there are tons of people who can help you with that, Doctors included.
Love ya later.
Kai
