Jesus, Lover of my soul --
I love You, and it's a delight to share Your Love; a pleasure to obey the One I love. You are so very close to me, my Lord
. . . closer than my flesh is to my bones.
Day by day, more and more, I see the blessedness, the gentleness, the safety and security of Your Holy Simplicity . . . O keep me in that blest Place, my Lord . . . keep me simple in this complex world. Let not the hand of man complicate that which You have brought forth in Simplicity; let not the boastful self of man mar the Pristine Beauty which You still stand waiting to share with those whose hearts are Yours. O Glory! Glory! Glory! to the King of kings and Lord of lords!
My God! my All! --
How my heart longs for You . . . how my soul delights in breathing as one with You. I praise You, and I thank You for Your promise to never leave me, nor forsake me. In obedience, may I never leave, nor forsake You.
