It works. It saves my ass daily, still. You will hear over and over that it works if you work it, but don't get immune from hearing it all the time.

What has worked for me, is doing everything that the people in the meetings told me to do. Just the way they told me to do it. Even when it was uncomfortable, even when it wasn't my nature, even when it wasn't my way.

I came to AA because I had no place else to go. If you know of anything else that works better that this, then that's the way to go. AA only works the way it works when I do it the way its been done over and over again for all these years.

You've come to the right place. Keep coming back.

For many years now I've been trying everything I can think of but I have always turned back to alcohol.

We need to help each other if we are ever going to stay sober.

I feel this is my last hope.

Hello New Guy. This site does work if you want it too. I was so grateful that I found it and started using it and making friends. Everyone in here helped me stay clean with thier warm advice as well as support. If you want it to work, It will work. Good luck and stay in touch.
