Just in Time.
Who knows when it started? Perhaps it was when the new millennium was ushered in or with the change of season. At some point though, it became obvious that time is being taken away! Have you noticed? There used to be more time in a day, more days in a year, more years in a decade and then something happened to start shortening time. No one really talks about it, but everyone seem to be aware of the fact that time is getting shorter and is more precious every day. The proof of this is that everyone says they don't have enough time and that time is passing faster than ever. Forget global warming; this is a real crisis! We are running out of time!
So how are you spending the limited time that God has given you? Are you being a good steward of time and really making it count for God's glory and your good? Do you invest your time in activities that will benefit the Lord and others? Your time is a valuable gift from God to be invested in ways that are pleasing to Him. Whether you know it or not, you are spending time, even now while you read this message. Make your time count. Lift someone up, give someone a smile, tell someone about the Lord, spend time in prayer, focus on the things above, and take time to make a difference. I could go on and on about ways that God would want you to spend your time but I don't have time (and neither do you). You really don't have all the time in the world. Spend the time that you have remaining wisely and invest it well. Remember, there is no time like the present to make a difference for God in the world.
“My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me.” Psalm 31:15
