Thanksgiving
With an attitude of gratitude, I say, “Thank You, God!”
Beginning each day with “Thank You, God,” I set the tone for the entire day. Whether I am going to work, spending the day alone, or looking forward to a time of celebration with family or friends, starting today with an attitude of gratitude reminds me that God is the source of all blessings.
If I should feel rushed to get things done or if I become impatient when things do not go as planned, I take a deep breath and say, “Thank You, God!” I know that God is present, bringing all together for good.
“Thank You, God” is my heartfelt gratitude that brings me back to an awareness of God. I am thankful for blessings large and small, for the expected and unexpected ones, and for the special people in my life.
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”—Colossians 3:17
