Isaiah 26:1-6. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord-Ps 117(118):1, 8-9, 19-21, 25-27. Matthew 7:21, 24-27.
'Those who listen to my words and act on them are like the sensible man.*'
At a gathering some years ago, I commented to the lady beside me, "I have a thought on this matter, but I don't know whether or not to add it to the discussion." There are often so many thoughts and suggestions we wish to offer.
She replied, "If you have something you feel you must say, that is probably your own personal thought. However, if you are content whether or not you make a particular statement, that thought is probably from God."
I have often used this tool to help me to know which path to follow, and I find it very helpful.
