Hey guys hows it going. I'm new to this site but i need some suggestions beyond just the common sense stuff. I lived in a halfway house for about 2 months but being the addict I am I moved out and and decided to live with a friend from the house. He has been in recovery for a long time and goes to meetings some times, and he doesnt do any hard drugs anymore but he does smoke marijuana. Hes also started growing plants in our apartment. I feel like I'm stuck in this situation and although I know I should share about it I'm just not at that point yet where I want to sabotage him completely. I'm not reliant on him because I pay most of the rent but at this point I almost feel like saying screw it and moving back in to the house. Somebody please set me straight, thanks.

:67: Awainer1! :17: Glad to have you join us here. My thoughts are what would happen to you if the police find out there are marijuana plants in your apartment? I think I might consider looking for somewhere else to live. Please feel free to continue to come and share with us. We are here for you. :42:

It sounds like a rough spot! All I can tell you is that it helps me to get away from the substance and the users. I have to remove myself from it as soon as possible.

'old playgrounds and old playmates', yo
'yours, not mine' too. you know that you've
got to rid yourself of the stuff that may get
you back into using again. there may have
been a time that the situation was dire and
you HAD to get out of the 1/2way house, but
living in such an environment is RIIIIISKY.

:195:Hello my name is Craid A. and I am a gratefully recovering alcoholic and addict. Awainer1 I would definetly get out as soon as possible if not sooner.:162: A phrase helped me out "If you hang out in a barber shop long enough, you will get a haircut". Let alone the jail time for growing-harvesting, but a drug is a drug is a drug! If you could make it back to the half-way house I would definety suggest it. I was in a half-way house myself and I directly give credit to that house for my sobriety, when I look back I don't think I would be sober today, and besides that it is a great way to have good sobriety. You could actually focus on yourself, fellowship, and make friends through there, I have a little over 5 years and I thank GOD for staying the duration. Keep focused and good luck!!!!!!!!!:29:
