Thanks for the support. I am now getting the meeting schedules for my area. I do have a Big Book but my concentration is distorted; I wouldn't remember anything I read. Posting to this site is helping me today. THANKS TO ALL.

I understand about the distorted feeling. After I quit drinking it was about 4 days before my mind was clear. Please keep coming back to the site. I am on it almost everyday. It gives me alot of inspiration.

Thanks for the word of hope. I love this site. I can do this all day. When you pray remember me. I really want to stay clean this time.

Just trying to stay clean another 24 hours. Need to know someone out there is with me. Do you happen to know what the meditation was for today?

I'm glad to see everyone here! I hope you all keep this up and maintain contact with us. If I'm not mistaken, people can e-mail one another from this site, is that true? If so, I certainly welcome anyone who would like to do so. Those who pray together, stay together!

Yep, folks can email others as long as the member has it set in their User CP that they will receive emails from others.

new here, been in recovery a while. My sponsor told me "go to meetings, listen, don't speak unless spoken to, pray (if youcan't make it fake it) for ninety days." That's what worked for me.

I'm Kai, I'm an alcoholic.
So glad you are all here. I too welcome e-mails or private messages if someone needs to reach out.
I remember how you all feel, the way it felt at the beginning. Just keep doing what you are doing. Keep reaching for help, keep looking to learn more.
Keep coming back. This is where the hope is.
Love ya later. Kai
