Looks like no one has posted in quite a while here so thought I would start a new thread at NA. Relapsed and been back about 8 days and would love to hear from some new friends in the fellowship. Trying my hardest to change playgrounds, playthings and playmates. All my love and if someone has not told you today that you are a miracle for staying clean and sober one more day and that they love you then I am telling you.

I'll say hi also. and thanks beth.
I've been home sick in bed for a couple of days, and I am early enough in recovery that the spare time and discomfort are playing havoc with my thinking. My disease is quite active in my head. I dragged my sorry butt out to a meeting last night and will do same today.
I'd just like to affirm that I am lucky and grateful to be alive and clean, and after years of isolation, and torturous suffering i am meeting people and taking risks caring about people and this too has been really wonderful. spiritual principles and fellowship are giving me warm sustaining hope that i hadn't felt in a long time.
Thank you higher power, NA, and every member. :195:

Hey Howdy Beth!
I'm brand new to this place. Here's a haiku for You!
contemplative soul
reaching beyond her moment
rests uneasily
one day at a time, one moment at a time, stay in the moment and strive to be grateful.
