Saying hello as a person who has relapsed. Inspite of some shame and guilt feelings, I have hope.
I am grateful and thankful to be alive.
I pray we all can endure the days happenings.
:219: Blessings to all!!!!

:48: GODdontmakenojunk! :17: And you are exactly right - God don't make no junk. We are all precious children of His. Don't feel alone - there are many of us who have relapsed and understand your feelings. But today is a new day for new beginnings. Just for today, we don't drink or drug. Just for today we stay sober and clean together. Please make yourself at home here. if you need help with anything just let us know. Keep coming and sharing with us. We are here for you. :42:

Welcome! I just relapsed after almost 2 1/2 years sober, so I know a bit abour relapsing. But try not to beat yourself up too much - you are human and you are facing a powerful disease. it may take many attempts to reach a level where you are solid in your sobriety 9at least as solid as any of us can be).

I ditto Misselle. I too relapsed, three weeks before 18 years. You've picked yourself up, and dusted yourself off, and are back on the path. As one of my oldtimer friends told me: it's not that you fell down that matters, it's how you get up. Welcome back!!!

Glad to know you are still with us. I know just how you feel. I was just where you are not long ago. They tell me one day at a time NO MATTER WHAT don't use. So I practice this simple suggestion and it seems to be working. I pray it works for you. Good Luck and God Bless!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL...

Relapse can be a useful learning tool for the one that relapses and those that observe. It can also be deadly. I am grateful that you have come back to recovery so that you can make us stronger with the experience. Your higher power loves you, and so does your recovery family. It don't come wrapped in festive paper with a ribbon and bow, but it is the best gift I have ever received.
