hello family!! I missed you all so much, I hope everyone is doing well, Happy new year to all...just to let you all know ive been wroking recovery with my sponsor, and working a fulltiime job too!, I gotta say recovery gives back so much to this addict the blessing just keep comming, to feel some freedom today from within, to be a productive member of society again, wow , blows my mind sometimes, being spiritual, getting a relationship with my hp, omg feb 28th i will have a year clean/sober!! God willing ofcourse! I take it 1 day at a time, also just finishing up step 11, with my sponsor, omg I owe alot to this program it saved my life, I'm so grateful for everyday i wake up, not in bondage to alcohol or drugs today, its amazing, took me 29 years to surrender and it was soo worth it! I have my family back my husband, my home!! my pool! I have jesus! I have people who dont use!!! so humbly grateful to have my life and also live a new way of life!, God Bless Love, Diana:smile::42::11::D:29::tongue:

happy new year all, new to this site and day 1 of know drinking i habe been prescribed valium to help with withdrawal, can anyone offer any advice----feel shakey and sick, can`t face food, drinking plenty of water, hping to flush my system out and taking lots of vitamins, i know there is no quick fix and due to being a widdower, with children will struggle to get to meetings---any advice greatfully appreciated
