new and lost today

hi, i'm codependent but haven't found a CODA meeting yet. i've been to Al-Anon online, no local meetings in my area. i live with a sober alcoholic.

my clean & sober boyfriend tried to hang himself 2 nights ago. i'm desparate to find help or advice or anything that "clicks" with me.

Greetings. I'm brand new this place myself. You're not alone in your "clueless"ness... I'm feeling pretty blah today too.

I've felt suicidal in the past... my attempts were lame and a cry for help. As a teenager, I was a "cutter". I didn't really want to die, just wanted the pain to go away. It was a way of getting the pain from the inside out.

Does your bf go to AA? Is he getting counseling now? Are there any open AA meetings you can attend in your area?
