The Rock
Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psa 61:1-2)

At times we reach the end of our rope- when hope seems far away. David says, "from the end of the earth." Jesus knows we need Him, our rest and strength is found in Him alone. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. (Psa 103:14)
He held us up when all seemed well. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28) He holds us when there seems to be no way. Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings!' (Psa 61:4) Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, help me to remember that Your faithfulness is everlasting, that Your strength never fails. Help me when things are difficult, when it feels as if I cannot go on. Lead me to Yourself, to the Rock that is higher than I. Amen
Today's very great and precious promise
The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (Deu 31:8)
We have God's Word on it.
