Encourage
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Although I may not always have people close by to encourage me throughout a difficult time, I do have the spirit of the living Christ within me that does. I know that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” As I trust in this powerful promise, I find the strength and courage to do what may otherwise seem impossible.
Encouraging others strengthens me. When friends or loved ones are discouraged, a kind word, a smile, or even a gentle touch can lift their spirits and let them know that they are not alone. As we pray together, the power of united prayer lifts us above any perceived limitation and reminds us that the presence of Christ within makes all things possible.
Christ is our strength in all things, and knowing this we do our best.
“Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.”—1 Thessalonians 5:11
