I am looking for answers on how to get started in getting off pain medication. I need to know if there are such things as outpatient detox. I don't have anyone to talk to and I have had some pretty bad things happen lately and its all because of these pills... I've posted here in the last couple days and haven't really gotten answers. Someone please help me. I'm at my wits end. Thanks.

The first thing if these are prescription drugs, talk to your Dr. He/she may be able to put you in touch with a detox. Or you can look in the phone book under Narcotics Anonymous and there is usually a hotline number you can call for immediate help.
Those are just a couple ideas that come to mind. I'm glad you've found this site. I did respond to another of your posts. I hope you find these, I'll chase you around a bit.
