Greetings my fellow travelers...
Happy Bday & Congrats to all you (us) birthday folks!
today I turn 43 years old and have recently been blessed with the privelage of celebrating 16 years of recovery! I received my AA chip wed. nite at my home group & it was a wonderful opportunity to thank all of those who have helped make this possible...and to share the gratitude I feel for the program.
It has been a long journey a day at a time for me.
I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I'm learning life-lessons at a high rate of speed these dayz... never a dull moment!

I do not know what I am doing As I am new to posting and I do not know if doing this right My clean date is 8/12/2000 and birthday is 10/13/51 I am new to using a computer and the cyber world I am working a 12 step progam and I am on step 3 with my sponsor and I do service work in na lately I have started going back to AA some I guess step 3 is a good step for me to be on making that decision to turn my will and my life over to the care of God is somthing I do not want to do my will gets in the way but I know if I do all will be what they are and that is the only way I would want it I do have faith and tust in that and I will be OK

My name is BobP and I am an alcoholic.

I received my 4 year coin tonight from my three sponsors. Our men's group has a nice way of celebrating anniversaries. The recipient of the coin goes up with his sponsor(s). Each sponsor shares about the progress the sponsee has made over the past year followed by the sponsee telling us all how he did it.
Anniversary night is quite special indeed. It shows us all how much we need each other to make this program work.
