Can a person get a "cyber" sponsor?

I am sure you can, but I think just for me that I need to be able to sit down with my sponsor and get to know her and let her get to know me. I am not very good at it mind you, but if I have a sponsor that is not meeting me at a meeting or going over for coffee and working steps I am the great manipulator. So I need that one on one thing. It was suggested to me when I was new to look for a sponsor who had what I wanted in recovery. Like what do you want in your recovery peace? So that what I have done each time I have looked for a sponsor I have had 3 in 6 years one because she moved one because I moved and the one I have now who lives less than a block from my home. Just me:wink:
