Eager
I want a new life, I'm tired of the old.
One that is pleasant, not dismal and cold.
A life that is tranquil, quiet and serene.
Not one that's repulsive, evil and obscene.
I'm willing to do whatever it takes.
It's going to be work, but my life is at stake.
I'm convinced that I'm not alone and unique.
That my life doesn't have to be gloomy and bleak.
I'm eager to begin this new way of life.
I'm willing to try without any strife.
I'm willing to do what's suggested of me.
To be open and listen as the dying can be.
