I say that when I see people go back to their disease, when I see people die from this disease, when I see people go to prison from this diseas.

I say that to myself ....
to remind me to stay humble,
to remind me not to judge,
to remind me that if I am not in the grace of God, I am at the mercy of this disease
to remind me that no matter how much distance I put between myself and my last drink, I am just as close to my next drink as every other person here
