I have been homeless for over 1.5 years and recently was working a day labor job for $7.00/hr while talking to some of the regulars there they told me of a fabbrication shop one block away from the day labor office.
I went there and got a good paying job in my field.
I was still living in shelters and homeless when I started working there.
God has been trying to get my attention for a long time. HE has had his hand on my shoulder for a long time.
I have been gun shot two different times the second time was through the chest, left to right, and didn't require any major surgery!
I have also bee struck by aotumobiles doing over 60 MPH on two different occations. The most that injured me was 3 broken ribs.
Did that get my attention....NO!
Being homeless for over 1.5 years and no transportation or a decent job did the trick!
In less than 1 week I had a job, a great sponsor and a very heplful friend, and a place to live in an Oxford (recovery) House!
I have some bad teeth and one now needs to be removed. Guess who I met three days ago! A dentist thats in the program!
Just do the next right thing!
