2)What is your date? My clean date is 1/21/93 I have been clean for 15 years
3)How many times have you been through the steps?
There is really no way to count. I have been thru them many, many times in my 15 years. Currently I am doing them again.
4)What is your favorit recovery slogan? hmm favorite..not sure I have a favorite. I believe they all have meaning and a place where they fit into our recovery at various times.
5)In one paragraph, describe what you expect of
your sponsees? People who are brand new I make the suggestion of 90 meetings in 90 days and daily contact. My only expectation is honesty...at all times
6)In one paragrapht tell us who you are? My name is Sandie and I am an addict. I have walked thru some hard stuff in recovery, divorce, financial ruin, loss of loved ones...life stuff. Thur all that I have not gotten loaded and have strengthened my spiritual connection. Nothing in God's world by accident after all. I believe in "we can't keep what have til we give it away" statement and have found that to be oh so true. I am honest, sincere, and somewhat hard nosed sometimes about recovery. I will not ask you to do anything that I myself am not willing to do.

Our Sponsorship Questions
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello Family,
We have all agreed to paticpate in Cyberrecovery's
Sponsorship section of the internet. This can be an
awesome experiance. One thing that I know from
my experiences are that it teaches me hugely
about the spiritual principles of the program, and
how much more I need to learn to use them
more often than I do.Teaches me alot about accetance of others in there skin in ways that nobody
before me has.Teaches me about patience and
tolerance.
These are the questions that have been used in the
other online sponsorship sights that I have been
involved with.
1)Which 12 step program are you a member of?
(Example-I am a member of N.A.,although early in
my recovery I did make other fellowships,My sponsor is in N.A.)
2)What is your date?(My clean date was the last time I used january 24 1994..I have been in recovery
since 1989.So your recovery..soberiety..clean etc)
3)How many times have you been through the steps?
Self explanitory
4)What is your favorit recovery slogan?
5)In one paragraph, describe what you expect of
your sponsees?(How often to get in touch..etc)
6)In one paragrapht tell us who you are?
7)How many meetings a week do you attend?

1) I am an alcoholic. I attend AA, NA, CA.
My favorite meeting is a locally started meeting called,
Hard Core Recovery.
In that preamble, we state that
"We are neither AA, NA, or CA.",
we use the literature from all these programs,
"We are not here to compare the differences in these programs",
"We believe that all these programs work, and want to reach out to those suffering from this disease."
2) My sober date is March 21, 2004. My first sober date was October 11, 2003, that was my first meeting ever, but I saw the word 'God' on the wall, and decided to run out the doors and back into my disease. My disease ran me back in on March 21, 2004.
3) Top to bottom? Ive done them 2X, am starting on my third time. But I work whatever step I need, on life, as it comes up.
4) "God, as we understood him." I know that isn't exactly classified as a slogan, but it is those five words that saved my *ss.
But, like the steps, each one has been 'the best one' at one time or another. Just because of where I am at in my head at the time.
5) Hopefully you have a f2f, but either way,
learning/practicing talking to other people may end up saving you life some day,
so, contact me at least everyother day, and every time you need to. Internet makes it pretty easy to do. It is a 'WE' thing, if I am not talking to anyone, then I don't have a 'WE', all I have is 'I', and 'I' got me into all this.
6) I'm Kai, I'm an alcoholic. Mine is Dual Recovery, not to be mistaken for Dual Addiction, because I am recoverying from my addiction to alcohol, as well as recoverying from mental illness (manic depression and epilepsy). For myself, if I am not treating both, I am in bad shape. I came from a very religious family, who also happened to be a very violent family, and I had real "God" issues when I got here. This program gave me the only path to God that could, or would, ever work for me. But, when I got here, God was the last thing I was looking for, after all, I KNEW this was all his fault. (So if you are feeling that way right now, you are in the right place and it is all going to be okay.)
7) At least 5 meeting per weak, my regulars, and then as many as I need when I need them.
I knew I had to stop drinking. AA was the only place I had ever heard of that helped do that. If I had only stopped drinking, I would have gotten just what I came for.
I didn't know it would
help me heal inside,
fill that great big emptyness,
release me from the shame and guilt and pain of the past,
make it okay to be me,

Shared joy, is two times the joy.
Shared sorrow, is half the sorrow.
Don't leave the "WE" out of your recovery!!
