A faithful man will be richly blessed.
Proverbs 28:20

I read a health article that said, "Research indicates that helping others may reduce stress and improve your health." It went on to say that "tutoring a child, helping out at a nursing home or aiding someone who has fallen" could bring the same tangible sense of well-being one receives from frequent vigorous exercise or relaxation techniques. The theory is that doing good deeds releases the body’s natural painkillers and produces a sense of well-being. "Studies," the piece continued, "have found that the helpers’ cholesterol and hypertension levels are reduced."
Maybe today I’ll write a letter of cheer to a faraway friend who’s been feeling down, or I could offer to do errands for the widow on the block whose husband recently died. Would you care to join me and discover what it does for you?
