There were some principles of prayer and supplication that worked in the apostle Paul and that will serve us well if we but receive them into our lives. Some of them worked in him because of the sheer discipline of his own life. Others were released in him by the grace of God. They were all enhanced in him by the Holy Spirit Who, it is apparent, maintained an access to his life at all times. That enhancing of God's Spirit can find its operation in us and activate the same principles in us. I think, however, we must desire this, perhaps more then we desire anything else. When these principles work in us, they will make us useful - more useful than we could ever have imagined - in Christ's Kingdom.
