Trust

by Dr. Rick Jelusich

The inflow of activity that nurtures our spirit is as effortless and endless as the stars in the heavens. We receive from the well of Inner life the flow of the Divine, coursing through our memories the gentle awakening call to our Godly potential.

Though your heart beats with the rhythm of Earth's cares, you are borne of the Divine. Composed of both spirit and matter, you dance to the pulsations of Love's emanations, caressing the mind into its gentler sea of harmlessness.

Tossed about by the waves of earthly confusion, you yield to the once ancient and future idea of your perfection. Yielding in ever-unfolding rivulets of the deepest yearning for your spiritual home in the heavens, that place in the heart not made with hands, but residing within the Mind of God.

Strength and beauty, they adorn you as accolades of your heart's compassion and striving for peace and ultimate composure. And you know it could not be otherwise.

You are borne of Light, of Wisdom, and of Love. You are the accumulation of many paths, many lifetimes, seeking the path of God unfolding within you. As surely as you exist, your body and mind ache to once again reside in the home of inner peace and tranquility.

Dancing on in the movement of life's living, your yearning impels you onward to the Divine embrace, the Oneness, the All.

Your heart yearns with the depth of love unmatched in earthly aspirations, a glimmer of which may show through on the material plane.

But, oh, in that Holy of Holies, the Sanctum Sanctorum, you yearn for the Divine Expression to emanate through your soul's quality as light sheds forth from the Sun of Suns. You serve the One, the Source, the Truth and the Light. Vibrational echoes of the truth awaken the spiritual warrior within you, calling you to your duty, your mission.

Aspects of your soul, spread across space and time, are called forth through your sincere desire to be of God's service. Calling together all aspects of your Divine heritage, you gird yourself in the divine armor of love and compassion, truth and beauty. Your love so sweet, your commitment so deep that it makes the fragile human body shudder with the vibrations of joyous service.

To lead, you must serve. To serve truly, you must be truly divinely yielding and courageous. To be divinely yielding, you must trust in yourself; the God within you guiding you surely and wisely through the trials of life's experiences. You cannot lead others truly if you cannot lead yourself.

Build your character from right behavior and right action. Accumulate merit for a life well-served in applying what you know. Walk the middle path, neither too spiritual nor too material, too humble or too confident. Be harmless and at peace.

Could you flow with what is effortlessly flowing within you? Could you be at peace with the peace within you? Could you access the love and wisdom that is already yours? Could you be quiet enough to accept your stillness?

Oh divine soul, see your greatness in God's eyes; aspire to that which is yours. Claim what you own. Vibrations of God's endless love sear the low-minded, and burn through manipulation and thoughts borne of fear. Mist separate, mountains move, so as you intend and apply your fervent trust of you inner seeking.

Clarity is your domain; peace, the mantle you wear declaring your harmlessness. Let fear fall away from you as effortlessly as a feather floats through the air.

Let your trust come to you as a wind, not mindful of whence it comes and whither it goes, but confident and sure that it comes at all and that it is indeed a Divine origin. Let it swirl about you as it will, neither forcing nor directing, but feeling its soft caress as you yield to the subtleties of divine trust. Your trust will guide you, for it is the only way to aspire through and beyond your mind's well-intentioned navigation through this place of materiality.

The smallest feeling is greater than the greatest thought. Could you allow your feelings a greater path within you, to pass beyond the limitation of thought itself to an expression without form? Could you surpass your idea of yourself, through inner trust?

Regard others as though you are beholding the awakening mists upon dawn's embrace of a beautiful mountain meadow. The beauty of another is composed of all the nuances and subtleties of the meadow; secret lives of abundance, joy and wonder abound within its expanse. Yet all that beauty would go unnoticed were no one to seek it. Far better it is to behold others as such a wonder of God, rather than to take mental note to checklist of projected wants and desires. For such marks the mistake of beholding others as a lesser being, a lesser dream.

To start with yourself, to trust yourself, is to behold in you a right and benefit of the Great Creator's design. It is perfect; for you have perfection within you. All of the truths of all of the masters of wisdom are borne within you, awakened through your trust and aspiration to rise up above the busy everyday thoughts and the living of life.

To Aspire. To Trust. To be without being. "For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36, Bible) Do you not see that you have all that you need? To see the beauty in others is to recognize it within yourself. Could you trust yourself that much?

New vistas in life are seldom imagined to the glory of one who beholds, compared to the direct experience of trusting what you cannot see and cannot hear with physical senses. And striving for that which exists in the heart causes one's life to be encompassed by God's firm embrace; for it is the direct connection to the soul that passes the mind's protests. Such vistas exist, in realms of consciousness unfolding for the trusting, the asking, the yearning.

Applying what you know and what you feel may seem two different things, for they are two sides of the same coin. Trusting in the middle way, in balance, renders the mind tame and governable; allowing the heart to express what the mind cannot see. Be partners in the mind and in the heart, knowing the essence of your spirit dances through each shining as the face of God. Illumination to the mind comes through such partnering.

How reluctant we sometimes are to step into that position of trusting ourselves; in relationships, in careers, in money. So difficult sometimes to let go into that higher purpose so that your path is optimized by Higher Mind and Divine Design. It is that same difficulty that is presented to us over and over again until we learn to trust in the divine process of unfoldment, creating teachers and lessons, situations and circumstances, where the possibility of learning the lesson may be met, comprehended and finished. Always expressing into higher realms of consciousness, we seek to ground what we have experienced, that others may know the greatness that lives within us.

Thus, you evolve. "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." (Mark 9:23 Bible). "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, 'out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.'" (John 7:38 Bible)

Remember Wayne Dyer popularized the saying, "I'll see it when I believe it."? You must first believe; TRUST in yourself.

And so it is. The hosts of the Divine Presence, the Ancient of Days, Jesus, Buddha, Sanat Kumara, Kwan Yin, and all who serve the Light, Love, and Wisdom and all beings of True light are with you, if you but ask, if you but trust in that unseverable part of you that is your Divine connection.

The All that Is. The symphony of beings of light is aligned behind you with the express purpose of accelerating and optimizing your path as a conscious being of light. If you but ask, if you but trust. "And Jesus said unto them, 'Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place and shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.'" (Matthew 17:20 Bible)

Believe in yourself. Believe in your divine connection. The laws of the physical and nonphysical universe are there for you to use, to express, to breathe into yourself the breath of the highest soul's existence; all in the embrace of God, through trust.

Trust comes from truth, even when the truth hurts. Especially when the truth hurts. You cannot have trust without truth. And without trust, nothing is achieved.
To follow your own ideas and possibilities, you must have faith in them. You must trust them. You must trust yourself. That means being truthful with yourself -- bluntly and sincerely truthful.

The same dynamic applies even more profoundly when working with others. Would you provide your support, your time, or your expertise to someone you did not trust? Would you commit your energy and your resources to someone who had lied to you?

Without truth and trust, all our frenzied activity accomplishes nothing. Seek trust by accepting nothing less than the truth. Nurture trust by recognizing, respecting and appreciating truth. Create trust by living and acting in truth. In so doing, you will move steadily toward greatness.
