Just started back to GA meetings

My name is Terry K. and I am a compulsive gambler..Started gambling again and Sharon my girlfriend knew it.I tried to lie my way out of it.She already knew..Just wanted me to be able to confide in her and share my heart with the truth..The truth will set you free!..A life partner..She said to me "It is not tht gambling that will break us up but the lies and deceipt..You say I am your best buddy but yet you would not confide in me..Now you may not ever know how understanding I could be."really cut to the quick..Now 18 days since we broke up and miss her..One day at a time..Going to meetings at least once a week, and will go twice a week if my schedule warrants. I am Christian and have asked God for forgiveness and Sharon.But as my Pastor says there are always consequences..Thanks for listening..Godbless us all.Love ter
