Hello,
I am new to this site and looking forward to all the help and support of other alcoholics. My last drink was last night at 1:00 a.m. I had 15 years of sobriety at one time and went back out there for 5. This disease will kill me if I keep drinking. I am still relying on self. That ain't working for me. How come I have such a hard time trusting God when he has over and over again been there for me?

:67: annalise! :17: Glad to have you join us here. Please make yourself at home. Welcome back. You are amongst those of us who have relapsed and made it back. Glad you made it back. Now pick yourself up, brush yourself off and go to meetings. Get a sponsor - that is what I did. We also have online meetings here http://www.cyberrecovery.net/forums/chat_mainpage.php . You can check the meeting times here http://www.cyberrecovery.net/forums/chatmeet.php . We also have an Online Journal forum here http://www.cyberrecovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=29 that some use in their everyday recovery. Please do feel free to continue to share with us on the board here. We are here for you. I will be praying for you. :42:

:17: Hi annalise. We are glad you are here. I too have relapsed and by God's grace i made it back. Welcome back home. Keep it one day at a time, or smaller increments if you need to.

Relying on only self will not keep me sober either. Its a "We" program. I need the people and above all God. I suggest getting to some meetings and there is alot of helpful posts and people here too. You are reaching out and that is a start. :42:
