Thanks Everyone , wow , you guys sure know how to make someone feel welcomed :-) it's like a online home group lol,,, lil more background ... my 3rd try at this 2nd serious really i guess, been addicted to 1 thing or anthor for over 30yrs.. been fightingoxycontin addiction now for about the last 5 yrs . tried kicking it last yr thru detox ,rehab & N.A. I lasted 110 days . thought I could give everything up & maybe go back & maybe smoke sometimes just alil ..dummy me .. lead right back to the pills then to the brown itchy powder .. all within 9 months .. I knew if i did them again it would lead me to that stuff & it did boy I.LIKED IT TOO.. I remember telling some " man .. I could go like this" ..wow just got goosebumbs telling on myself but I need to remeber this stuff cause thats whats waiting for me if I choose to use again "Pain & suffering & death .. man it felt so good getting my 90 day tag today ....WOW!!!! i dont want to do ....heroin again oxys again DRUGS again .!!! THANKS FOR BEING HERE MY FRIENDS :-)

Thankyou for sharing some about yourself and the issues you have had. I see from your writing that you are putting your whole heart into this and that is so wonderful. We are all here for you for whatever you may need.Ill share a little about myself with you...I have had addiction problems since i was 12 clear till i was 31. At 21 yrs of age thats when i first tried meth and i was on that rollercoaster for 10 yrs whew was that a ride.Well my soberity date is aug,31,2003. It was a day i never thought i would actually see, but it did happen and i have been so in love with life ever since. I am so eterinally grateful for God, My program, and others in recovery who have become part of my family and love so dearly.
I know at first it can be scarry to share and talk about yourself and the honesty of your addictions but it will get easier to share. I used to have the same problem, I would shake and sweat, but over time and just giving my higher power all access to begin healing inside me it all worked out ok and its gotten so much better. You dont ever have to pick up those things again and it is so very possible to be sober and totally happy and the love of life. You shared so i thought id share a little too.

Thanks T.I.H. for listening & sharing .. yeah no playing games , this is life & death... tho I do believe my relapse (even tho it almost killed me) is gonna help me in the long run --- make me work that much harder this time & take it that much more seriously ..I definately learned alot from it .. as it says in our basic text ..A relapse may be the jarring experience that brings a more rigorous application of the program. Hell 91 days ago I was suicidal but life is good today & getting better everyday .. Congrats On almost 5yrs there T.I.H. thats great ... wow 5 yrs in Aug :-)) 1 day at a time ...thanks my friend
