I everyone my name is crisisman and I'm an alcoholic and an addict. I have not had any alcohol in 12 years but I recenently have been abusing pain medications (anykind) and I believe it is getting the best of me. I'm having a hard time making it to meetings and my disease at times has me convinced that I can manage this but I don't want to loose everything before I realize my life is unmanagable. Please say a prayer for me and I'm open to any and all advice.

As for the medications if youre feeling its getting the best of you then it probably is and we are so glad you are reaching out. There is something inside sending you red flags to get some help for this. Dont let your desease keep you away from meetings as i have the feeling you could really use one so we pray you get to one as soon as you can. Dear Crisisman I just lift you up to the Lord praying for healing in your life. I pray that God will lead you to meetings that will help you overcome these feelings of depression.
