:60:Just wanted to share a wonderful day in my sober journey. Today I had the privilege of taking my Mother (84yrs.young) to visit her 10th great grandchild, Zayna, a beautiful baby girl. It is a God given miracle when you hold a child for the first time and look at their tiny faces, fingers, and toes, suddenly can't imagine your life without them in it. Not all days for this recovering alcoholic are as rewarding as this one but it sure makes me grateful that I am sober today...feeling the true joy and emotion of being part of this wonderful family God has placed me in. May all of little Zayna's dreams come true.:169:
