My name is Leigha and I am a member. I am from Chicago with almost five years june 13. I am joining because all the help that I can get to keep my recovery is what is important to me.
I find it very difficult to attend meetings because i have 6 children 1 of which is special needs who I have to watch every second of the day, 4 home businesses, i go to school and I homeschool my children. It is by no means an excuse but at least online is better than none.
I hope to grow and continue to learn here.

I am my own brick wall so i am learning to climb that wall. With time God and the program everyday is worth it.

Hi and welcome. I have six kids too and one with special needs. I go to school too and found that on-line recovery helps me more than I could ever say. Wow you homeschool too! Now I could never do that because I need the break from my kids LOL. Congrats on your coming up 5 years! (((((((((huggies))))))))

i need a break oo but i am so glad that there is a park across the street they go to all the time. LOL i cant stand the public schools here in chicago they are terrible i am to scared to send my children to the local high schools and other school for fear of the violence.
It seems to be alot easier to homeschool since i have to be home with the baby all the time and no one seems to be able to watch babies with special needs like you want them to.

Hiya Leighahh, nice to meet ya I know what it's like to not be able to make as many mtgs as you'd like I'm a 2nd shifter at work & most mtgs in area are in evening while I'm at work .This site is great , lots of friendly ppl ,with lots of experience ,strength , & hope they are more than willing to share with anyone.. Nice to meet ya my friend & keep coming back :-)
