Hello fellow addicts!:171:

My name is Ted and I'm an alcoholic. I come from a long line of Irish drunks, so I suppose it's appropriate my sobriety date is March 17, 2008. It was time to break the luck of the Irish in my family. After almost 37 years of being a drunk or a pot head, on St. Patrick's day I checked into a recovery program. Since "graduating" from the recovery program, I've been going to 1-2 AA meetings a day. I have a sponsor and I completed my 7th step with him last night.

I have also accepted Jesus Christ as my "official" higher power. :194:

I look forward to utilizing this forum to help to keep myself and all of you sober between AA meetings.

Ted:17:
