Hello to all!:12:

I stumbled across this website by "accident" searching for just for today quotes to copy and decorate for inspirational reminders to hang around to help keep me on track.

I am grateful to find out there is a place for people who are like myself and open minded to any means by which I may have more action plans or replacements for my recovery. I am working the steps with a sponsor, but I struggle to constantly remind myself that I am selfish, egocentric, and that everything I think and feel is my perception and I am WRONG! :5:

I WANT RECOVERY from myself. I have faith in Life and believe through my actions and work I will live a full, rewarding life in FREEDOM from my irrational thoughts and emotions-and my lame alcohol, prescription drugs, shopping, work, relationships, eating disorder addictions.:16::23:

I am excited to form connections with others who can relate to myself and are willing to take the scariest step and do something different than the brilliant bull**** that hasn't worked and doesn't work no matter but keeps me prisoner...

I am so very hopeful for this, if I sound like someone you might relate to, I'd love to get connected and share insight or just a few kind words when we're feeling defeated.:29::18::282:

Hey kid sent you a private message, girl you are in the right place if you are choosing recovery, I think if you browse through this web site you will absorb that AA/NA is the place to be..give yourself up to a Higher Power, search your born beautiful soul and come to be who the person that you can live in peace with, I think anyone in the program will tell you,you need the support of going to Meetings, wherever you live, look in the phone book and get the Local Chapter to send you a Book of Meetings in your area...best of luck, you are God's gift....give it back!

that slogan "Triggers are good for me as long as I don't pull them" should be up with the rest of the great AA messages! One Day at aTime, Easy Does It,......if Big ole Bill thought of that one back in the 30's I'd have that in stickah form on my bumpah (insert my Boston accent):12: I think when I go to work tomorrow I'll go to Power Point and make my own postah!
