Trusting Him
Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck. (Psalm 69:1)

Who can say how often God saves us from sorrow and trouble? But there are times when He saves us through our troubled times. The psalmist wrote: 'I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me.' (Psalm 69:2)
Chritian, we wait to see God's relief: 'I am weary with my crying out; my throat is parched. My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God.' (Psalm 69:3) But when all about seems to close in with no light, He has not forgotten you.
Find your comfort in the question: He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? (Rom 8:32) Find peace in the love He has proven. After a time of endurance He will bring you through and comfort you. Let's pray.
Answer me, Lord, because Your love is steadfast. By Your abundant mercy let me know Your comfort. You know the end from the beginning. You care for us with Your life. Help me- only You see the way. Grant me endurance to wait upon You. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
They who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
We have God's Word on it.
