2. Saturday, October 11th: Cri-Help Dining Facility, 11027 Burbank Boulevard, North Hollywood, 91601, 1:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Contact Kay B. (661) 287 9368 if questions.
Topic: Early A.A.’s roots in the training of Bill W. and Dr. Bob in Vermont; the ideas the cofounders brought to the table at A.A.’s Akron founding in June 1935; and the precise details and successes of the original, “old school” A.A. Program as summarized by Frank Amos in 1938.
3. Sunday, October 12th: Opportunities to meet with individuals at Holiday Inn Express in Pasadena, particularly to discuss James Club groups, other Big Book/Bible study groups, and Christian recovery ministry to alcoholics and addicts, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
4. Monday, October 13th: Christ’s Church of the Valley (house behind the church), 1404 West Covina Boulevard, San Dimas, CA 91773, 7:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. [Joe D. (626) 506 6847]
Topic: Early A.A. studies of the Book of James, Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, and 1 Corinthians 13; and precise suggestions for organizing and conducting “James Club” and Big Book/Bible study groups today.
