:67: bds61! :17: glad to have you join us. Just know that some of us didn't kick everything all at once. I once was sharing with a pastor whom someone had introduced me to to get help with my drinking and he told me to take one addiction at a time and to start with my drinking since it was what was causing me the most problem. That has been many years ago and I have been many miles since then and quit doing quite a few things not all at one time mind you but drinking was one of the first addictions I stopped with the help of God and AA.
You know I had a situation come up in my life recently and it had me reflecting on what I went through to stop drinking and stay stopped as well as the other things. I had tried a couple of times to take care of this situation but when it finally happened was when I finally just surrendered all to God and became willing to go to any lengths just like with the stopping drinking, stopping smoking cigarettes, stopping smoking pot and so on. It happened after I surrendered all to God as I understand Him. Now I don't know what it will take for you but this is what it took for me - surrendering all and becoming willing to go to any lengths.
Keep coming and sharing with us here. We are here for you. :42:
