Servant
The greatest among you shall be your servant. (Mat 23:11)

It's simple for me to say, and hopefully you agree: there is no greater occupation than serving. Jesus said, "I am among you as the one who serves." (from Mat 22:27)
Sounds good. But Christian, what happens when someone treats you like a servant? It's one thing to talk about serving, but we need the Lord Jesus to help us in times when we feel disrespected. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, you are exalted in humility. You know the struggle when we feel disrespected, help us fight to set our hearts on you. Help us to forgive and serve in the presence of your humility. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
Love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. (Luke 6:35)
We have God's Word on it.
