I wanted to share with you that DMX was the first rapper I listened to when I got clean and sober and was living in a program. This by far is one of his greatest songs. I LOVE IT!!. I was just downloading some of his music. This is a man that struggles with his addiction and many people I know in recovery make fun of me because I like his music and he gets in so much trouble.

They do not see it as an addict like me who struggles:21: with his addiction:mad: I just don't listen to what they I have say I listen to him and how honestly and real he is when he writes his music it he is as real as they come. I do not know if you have ever heard his song "slipping' There is something he says that helps me when I think about his words on the slippin song TO LIVE IS TO SUFFER TO SURVIVE DEFINES THE MEANING THE END OF SUFFERING!!!! Thanks! I do like to express myself like so many others through music :-) and that is just like many of us. I believe that there is good in music and it helps to sooth the soul and one thing that I have learned or should I say am learning is just to be me.
