You might try consulting with a doctor or nutritionist since you are having the headaches. The same thing happened to me when I stopped drinking coffee, I was told by my nutritionist to taper off because of the withdrawal symptoms. Wishing you success.

u have got to be kidding
Caffiene addiction is very real!!! We each may have different issues. I always try to say something supportive and encouraging whether I can identify or not.

:DI have heard of people getting headaches from caffine.I worked with a man for years ,if we gave him a caffinated coffee he would get outright mean from it.Some peoples bodies reject caffine. But getting headaches is real when you stop coffee, especially if you drank a lot of coffee.A doctor may be able to help you with your problem.Coffee is an addiction whether people know it or not.:D

I know caffiene addiction is real but hopeless addict? Ok my husband was able to stop coffee, by buying half caf, then after a while diluting that. Tapering off is probably your best bet. but dont be so distraut, you will be fine and you are not a hopeless addict, no one is until thier addiction kills them. I an sorry i really thought you were kidding, but your problem is very distressing to you. i hope i did not add to it.

Thanks a lot for all of your help. Surprisingly supportive, I half expected people to tell me to ____ off. And sorry about the spelling on my first post, I was in a hurry when I posted it. The hopeless addict thing was a bit of an inside joke with a friend of mine (sorry if it was rather tasteless).
Anyways, I made this thread because I am insensitive to caffeine. Meaning that I have to drink a lot of it everyday to fell alert. So I quit on a regular basis, stay away from it for a month or two to lower my tolerance. However, I have tried to quit again recently, and I had a lot more difficulty then I had before. And also it has become hard on my stomach, so I came for a bit of advice. I do not drink enough (or at least I try not to) of it per day to be sick for more then one day after I stop, but the real problem is my concentration. I rely very heavily on caffeine to concentrate on my schoolwork, and when I quit it do not have my much needed crutch. Any substitutes I can use?

P.S. No Kessa, you did not add to my problems.

ahah, see guys i was right, she was partly kidding, so there to all of you who said i was insensitive! As far as substtutes, try vitamin b-complex, its healthy and natural, all the pick u ups at the store are caffiene filled like redbull. Or they contain some chemical that not usda approved and could be dangerous. good luk to ya!
