that was the most insperational aa meeting i have ever attened!!!!! I t just so happens the first reflection was about GOSSIP!!!!!! i cant chat long but I can tell you after 21 years of drugs and booze being sober is great!!!!! chat to ya later. IT works!!!!!!!!

Thanks for keeping us updated. I am so happy your experience at the meeting was a positive one. I know for me, the meetings are the highlight of my day. Did you get some phone numbers of men to call? It has always helped me to use 'telephone therapy', it keeps me accountable. God bless you as you continue on your journey through sobriety.

i dont have net service at the momoent im using work computer, so i have to be brief i wish i could go into details. its day 7 of sobrity but i do have some interesting or coencedence to share.

bill w. died 1-24-71 my bday is 1-29-71 i was clean and sober exactly 5 days and a few hours before i went to my first metting!!!!! and his story is almost identical to mine except im a chef in real life. WOW

There you go. Focus on the similarities. Keep going to meetings and get the numbers of some of the men who have been around for a time. I found out early on, it's best to stick with the winners.
