Hi. I am situated in Eastern Europe in a place where there is no fellowship let alone program. I will be here till June. This website is my only link, and so far it has been a blessing. I need to let you all know that I am really grateful for the fellowship offered here. If there is anyone out there willing to sponsor please let me know. I am a recovering Codependent. Nafti I understand your plight I myself am a recovering alcoholic and addict.

I live in a small rural town in NY and recently lost my job. To top it off my service van was my transportation to meetings and I no longer have a ride. So I use this forum to stay in contact with other recovering alcoholic's.

The way to find a sponsor, that was suggested to me was to, watch and listen to people and when you see someone who has something you want... start talking with that person and if you still want what they have, ask if they can be your sponsor... There's a Sponsor's Help forum here http://www.cyberrecovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=76 (http://www.cyberrecovery.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=76) There's a lot of good information there on what a sponsor is and is not, how to find one, etc...
