A.A. History will come to life again in November, 2008, as we feature the landmark study of the relationship of Rev. Sam Shoemaker, Jr., rector of Calvary Episcopal Church in New York with Bill Wilson. Shoemaker's role was so important that Bill dubbed Sam a co-founder of A.A. Bill said most of the teachings for the 12 Steps came from Shoemaker. And our book of 700 pages plus rolls out the facts and documentation in detail. For the first part of November, we will be featuring the contents of the second edition of our landmark A.A. history title New Light on Alcoholism: God, Sam Shoemaker, and A.A.
