Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus' name. I willingly submit to do all that You ask of me, and will endure and bear all that You place before me, but I will not receive those things that the devil would put upon me. I yield to You, Lord, and if You want me to continue suffering in any difficult situation, I am willing, for I know You will give me abundant grace; but, I resist the devil and the abuses he would put upon me. I thank You that Jesus died on the cross and took the punishment for my sin, sicknesses and infirmities, so I do not have to take them. I praise You for this, and pray that others will know this truth in Jesus' name. Amen.

Our most gracious Heavenly Father, as we consider the crossroads that we face in our daily lives. Let us each first prayerfully seek to know Your will, Your truth, and Your guidance. In short, how would You have us live? ... Remind us that we can each make a difference! Help us, Lord, to each prayerfully accept our responsibility and Your guidance, lest we become a party to materialism, dishonesty, and immorality as a way of life. For if we no longer choose to consider ourselves "children of God," then we can no longer rightfully expect or ask for Your blessing, can we? ... Help us to see that we need You!

In Jesus' name we pray.

Amen.

A Clean Life

Ephesians 5:6-7

Dear Father,

Don't let me be deceived by the empty words of worldly people.

It is because of these things that your wrath will come upon the sons of disobedience.

Father, if I have to stand alone, so be it! Let me stand for you if the whole world stands against you!

Don't ever let me forget your commands or forsake you.

In the name of Jesus I ask for the purity of mind and spirit that was in him. Amen.
