I am so glad I found this place

[Sober Friend]

Hi, I am here to learn how to be a better friend. I have a dear friend who has a son addicted to heroin. My friend keeps asking me for advise and opinions on this situation.

I am a former bar tender, I have more "street smarts" than my friend, so he keeps asking me questions and I don't know what to say without hurting his feelings. I am not a drunk or a druggie, but I have seen some stuff.

I hope to find advise and support here.

I have been reading the posts and this place is helpful to many people. I posted a thread already, and I hope some of you might have some words of wisdom for me.
