Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your many blessings, and help me to be content with Your daily provision in my life. Deliver me from all worry and anxiety. Lord, help those who have fallen into the snare of gambling. Deliver them and set them free so that they will be able to trust You for their needs. May we all be content with Your daily provisions. Thank You for Your wonderful gifts of love, joy and peace, which cannot be purchased with any amount of money. I am most grateful. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, let us re-read yesterday's prayer, and help us to make important the things You consider important in our lives -- the attitudes of our hearts. Let us seek to exhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit, which can only be developed when we stay attached to You, the "vine,"* for without You we can do nothing.
In Your holy name we pray.
Amen.

Fear and Trembling
Philippians 2:12-13
Dear Father,
Help me to obey your word, not only in the presence of other followers of Christ but even more when they are absent, when there's no one there but me.
Be with me as I work out my salvation with fear and trembling, lest I should ever think that I have earned it. After all, it is you, dear God, who is at work within me, both causing me to do your good purpose and to purpose your good deeds.
In the name of Jesus, our star of hope. Amen.
