"HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE"

I just want to say how very grateful i am for many many things. I am grateful for GOD & the mercy & grace he has bestowed upon my heart & life, love, recovery, friends, my kids, my family & my recovery family.
But latley i have been going through some pretty trying emotional trials and i guess you'd say ive been in the vally. Well i want to say thankyou's for the valleys because they are where i learn my greatest lessons within me. It has not been easy latley but i am thankful for it because i do learn much. I may not understan exactly what, why or how but its not for me to know. Its for me to trust my GOD and know that no matter what HE always has my best intrests at heart and i can never go wrong that way.
I just felt i had to write all this because its been whats been going on here latley and i needed to express my gratitude. I know there are probably many others who have been facing valley trials and i would like to say its gonna be ok. Just take the time to look inside during those moments of your journey.

Much love to all of you:42:

"Thank You, O Lord"
Thank You, O Lord
For Your tender mercies You have graced me
For Your gentle kindness You have shown me
For Your unconditional love You have embraced me
O Lord, as I bow on bended knee
My heart so full of gratitude
I make only one request from You
That You reveal to me Your will for me
That is my one desire, Lord
That I may live each day for You
To give praise and thanks to You
For the many blessings and gifts you have graced me with
Only asking that You reveal to me
How I may use these blessings and gifts to be of service to You
Thank You, O Lord
For loving me
For never giving up on me
For my life that You have given me today
For the hope and promise of eternal life
Thank You, O Lord
I love You

Happy Thanksgiving to you all

As thereishope mentioned there are indeed valleys on this journey we call life..Today I too am grateful for the valleys...Some of the most blessed lessons I have learned have been as a result of the valleys. What I have learned thru the valleys is that the views and vistas from the hilltops become much more precious and beautiful...The other thing about the valleys and the journey thru them for me to remember is that if I keep on trudging the valleys pass and with my hand in God's the climb back up to the hilltops become so much easier..Then after passing thru many of the valleys [and the Dark Night's of the soul] I learn to ask for God's guidance a lot more quickly.

There have been times in the past when the rains came I got stuck in the mire and mud and became complacent making the journey that much harder...I am grateful on this Thanksgiving day to remember the lessons learned in the valleys and that with God's help when I get to the hilltops or mountians that He opens the eyes of my heart
