Rejoice! and Pray!
Philippians 4:4-7
Dear Father, forbearing God,
Let me rejoice in the Lord always! Again I ask this from you: Let me rejoice always!
Let me be gentle, open to reason, slow to make negative judgments.
Let this forbearing spirit be apparent to everyone.
I know the Lord Jesus is near, so I have no reason to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let me present my requests to you.
I believe in you, Father, a God who transcends all human understanding.
I believe that the peace which comes from you, which transcends all understanding, will keep my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.
In the name of the ever-near Jesus. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for giving us Your wisdom. Lord, may I never blame You when the enemy is attacking me with something evil. Lord, please deliver me from any trace of murmuring and complaining when I am faced with trials in this life. May I instead put on the armor of God and use my faith to put the enemy to flight. May I always trust You to bring me the victory over everything the enemy tries to defeat me with. I declare that he is a defeated foe and that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against me in judgment, You shall prove to be wrong. I thank You for the victory in Jesus name! Amen.

November 28
Dear Lord, I've been thinking that when I commit myself to seeking Your will for my life and then living it, You mean every day! You want me to be morally upright and honest and sensitive to all those who make up "my world" each day! That means at home with my family, at work, at school, in short, in all of my endeavors. You want each one who crosses my path to sense that I am "different," to catch a glimpse of Your love flowing through me! ... You want my everyday living to be a fulfillment of what I say I believe on Sundays! ... Help me not to fail You, for if all who claim to know You would actually live by Your moral laws, we could make a difference, and restore our foundations. Give each of us who makes this commitment to You, Your wisdom, and Your sustaining strength.
In the name of Jesus I pray.
Amen.
