For Every Living Creature

May I be a protector to those without protection,
A leader for those who journey,
And a boat, a bridge, a passage
For those desiring the further shore.

May the pain of every living creature
Be completely cleared away.

May I be the doctor and the medicine
And may I be the nurse
For all sick beings in the world
Until everyone is healed.

Just like space
And the great elemets such as earth,
May I always support the life
Of all the boundless creatures.

And until they pass away from pain
May I also be the source of life
For all the realms of varied beings
That reach unto the ends of space.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the many gifts You have given to us, as Your children. I do appreciate eyes to see Your beautiful creation. I am grateful that You gave us so many things to see and enjoy in this earth. I also thank You for the gifts You have given to me personally. I know that You have given me the gift of writing and I am grateful. I am also humbled that You would use me to share the revelations You have given me with Your people. Lord, I dedicate my life and gifts to Your work. Please use them to bring glory to Your Name. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Lord, as we get immersed in making material improvements, help us to remember to continually seek Your will and Your guidance. Remind us not to run ahead of You, or to confuse our "wants" with our "needs." ... Let us not forget that our first concern should be how best to encourage people to build a relationship with You, and to grow in their Christian faith. ... Let all that we do in both our material expansion and our spiritual growth be to Your honor and Your glory. ... Let us each ask ourselves, "Today, would any one have known that I was a Christian? Have I told any one about Jesus?

In Jesus' name I pray this.

Amen.

The End Is Near

Philippians 4:5

Dear Father, victorious deliverer,

Everything points to the fact that we live in the last days, so let me not waste time sleeping.

Salvation is nearer now than when I first believed. The night is far gone. The day is at hand.

Help me cast off all the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Let me conduct myself as becomes one of your people, not in reveling or drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling or jealousy.

Rather let me put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provisions for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
