Prayer for Children
Blessed God, you have created life to begin with childhood, a time of innocence, laughter, and exploration. Bless, we beseech you, the children of this world. Grant unto them the nurture they need for strong physical growth, keen minds, balanced emotions, and a holy spiritual life. Send unto them teachers to inspire an inquiring and discerning heart, to enable curiosity toward their surroundings, and a knowledge of this global village. Bless them with love, hope, and vision, and keep them ever in your unfailing compassion and protection. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, We worship You as the Almighty God, Maker of heaven and earth! May we, as Your children, always keep an attitude of being meek and lowly before Your throne. Lord, if we have any wisdom, knowledge and understanding, it is because You have enlightened us. I thank You for Your gift of Jesus to us, so that we do not have to go to hell and can now have our home in heaven with You. I am eternally grateful for Your love and sacrifice. It makes me ask the question David asked, "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" I praise You for crowning us with Your glory and honor because of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, remind me that Your Word says that I must come as a little child, asking trustingly for Your help, not just in crises but in the "everydayness" of finding lost articles, or a parking space. ... If I think that You would not be interested in such mundane things, am I not making You conform to my own design? If I think that I shouldn't bother You, have I ever really understood Your love, or known You as a real Father? Forgive me, Lord, for not realizing that "living in Your presence" means in all things and at all times.
In Jesus' holy name I pray.
Amen.

Filled with Knowledge
Colossians 1:9-10
Dear Father,
Help me and all of your people everywhere to be filled with complete knowledge of what you want, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
Keep stirring up my spirit to make me want to lead a life worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ, a full life because it is fully pleasing to him.
May I bear fruit in every good work. May I daily increase in my knowledge of you.
In the name of Jesus, our awesome Lord. Amen.
